This is a sewing/craft cabinet that I made for Betty.
It is made of just about clear pine (just a few small solid knots)
and finished in Early American Gel Stain with three coats of
polyurethane. The drawer fronts are poplar and the sides of the
drawers are aluminum extrusions that incorporate the slides. All
that is needed is a 1/8" saw kerf cut on the inside of the
cabinet carcass and no extra hardware. The cabinet stands 49" tall
and has fourteen drawers (six are 2" deep and eight are 3" deep) with
solid polished brass knobs and handles.
